Community Guidelines

Last updated: September 2026

Archilo works when the critique is honest, the work is original, and people treat each other like colleagues. These guidelines apply to everything you publish, post, or send on Archilo.

01

Publish original work

Everything you publish must be your own work or used with the rights required for publication. Do not upload other people's designs, drawings, images, or text as your own.

When a project is collaborative, credit your collaborators. When you reference someone else's idea, image, or text, attribute it clearly.

Plagiarised or misattributed work is removed, and repeat offences lead to account suspension.

02

Give critique that helps

Comment on the work, not the person. Be specific — what fails in the plan, what could improve in the section, what to test next.

Avoid empty praise and vague dismissal alike. The purpose of critique on Archilo is to make the next iteration better.

03

Be respectful

Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, and personal attacks are not tolerated — in comments, messages, community boards, or profiles.

Disagree with ideas freely. Do not target identities, schools, or individuals.

04

Protect academic integrity

Do not publish work you intend to submit as your own while it is being assessed elsewhere if your institution prohibits sharing it.

Never share another student's thesis, research, or project materials without permission. Never offer paid services to complete academic work for others.

05

No spam or misuse

Do not spam feeds, communities, or direct messages, run scams, manipulate credits, or mass-collect user data.

Promotion belongs in appropriate spaces — never as unsolicited messages.

06

Reporting and enforcement

Use the report option on any profile, post, or project, or contact us directly. Reports are reviewed; infringing content is removed and serious or repeated violations result in suspension or termination.

These guidelines work together with our terms of service. Where they conflict, the terms control.
